Ted Anderson

Ted Anderson is the Managing General Partner of Ventures West. Ted joined Ventures West in 1996 and is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the firm. He is also involved with the firm's investment activities, with a focus on IT, communications and semiconductors.

Ted is a veteran of the Canadian venture capital industry with over 20 years experience in private equity investment. Ted began his career in venture financing in 1982 with Royal Bank Venture Capital and moved to BG Acorn Capital Fund in 1985. He was an advisor to the Government of Canada on the establishment of the Canada Investment Fund for Africa (CIFA), a US$212 million pan-African investment fund managed by Actis and Cordiant Capital, and currently sits on the Advisory Boards of the Aureos Southern Africa Fund and the Aureos Western Africa Fund, two investment funds focusing on small and medium sized business investments in southern and western Africa respectively.

Some of his past investments include Chantry Networks, an early stage developer of Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) infrastructure products which was acquired by Siemens (NYSE: SI), InSystems Technologies Inc., a provider of document automation solutions for financial services organizations which was acquired by Standard Register (NYSE: SR), FloNetwork Inc., an application Service Provider in the online direct marketing space which was acquired by Double-Click (NASDAQ:DCLK), and Plazmic Inc., a developer of graphics and media technologies which was acquired by Research in Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM, TSX: RIM).

Ted currently serves as a Director of Activplant, AudienceView, Fresco Microchip, QuickPlay Media, RapidMind and Viigo. He is a past President and a current director of the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association.

Ted holds a B.A. (Honours) in Economics from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Paul Atkinson

Paul Atkinson is the Chair of TIFF, the organization that stages the Toronto International Film Festival. TIFF is one of the world's leading film organizations and is developing the world's premier film center, Bell Lightbox. He was most recently the Chair and CEO of Casero Inc., a Toronto-based software company that delivers solutions to Broadband Service Providers, allowing them to deploy value-add services to consumers. Tightly integrated with OSS solutions and compliant with third-party hardware devices, consumers can quickly register and access services, while Broadband Service Providers effortlessly deploy, manage and support the solution. Casero was acquired by RadialPoint in April, 2009.

Until March 2002, Paul was the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Amdocs Management Limited. He served on the Board of Solect Technology Group in 1993 and joined as CEO in 1994 to direct Solect's transition from a services-based company to a software solutions organization. On April 6, 2000, Amdocs announced that it had completed the acquisition of Solect for US$1.2B. Shortly after the acquisition, Paul was appointed to oversee worldwide marketing for Amdocs.

Prior to joining Amdocs' Solect division, Paul was the President and Co-Founder of Southwest Sun, central Canada's independent sales organization for Sun Microsystems. At Southwest Sun, he was responsible for growing Sun's sales revenue in Southern Ontario from under $1 million to over $40 million.

Paul is a member of the Board of Directors of RadialPoint and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Richard Ivey School of Business and is active in the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO). Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Don Green

Don Green currently serves as Chair and CEO of Greenfleet Ltd; Chair and CEO of Forterra Environmental Corp.; Director of AudienceView Ticketing Inc; and Director, Board of Governors of McMaster University. Don's former positions include 35 years as President and CEO of international auto parts manufacturer Tridon Ltd., 13 years as Director of the National Bank of Canada, where he also served as Chairman of the Credit Committee, 6 years as Founding Chairman of Innovation Ontario Corporation, and 20 years as Governor of the Ontario Research Foundation. Don has been honoured with the Ryerson University Alumni Achievement Award (1998), the Honorary Member OACETT "CET" designation (1996), and the Administrative Manager of the Year Award, presented by the Institute of Certified Administrative Managers of Ontario (1986).

He received the Order of Canada in 1980. Don holds an Engineering degree from Ryerson Polytechnic University, along with Business Administration certifications from the University of Western Ontario and McMaster University. An avid sportsman, Don sailed around the world in 1951 with famous explorer Irving Johnson as a crew member on the brigantine "Yankee". He wrote a book and produced a travelogue film entitled "White Wings Around the World" about the expedition. Don owned and skippered the racing sailing yacht "Evergreen", taking her to victory in the Canada's Cup in 1978 and again representing Canada in the Admiral's Cup in 1979. Don is a member of the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club, Burlington Golf and Country Club, The Hamilton Club, along with the World Presidents Organization. He is married to Sandra and father to grown children Sharon and Stephen.

Kevin Kimsa

Kevin Kimsa co-founded AudienceView in 2002, after the successful conclusion to his first venture, Solect Technology Group. Solect was an IP Billing software company, targeting the telecommunications and mobility market from 1993 until 2000. Kevin served as President and COO of Solect until its acquisition in April 2000 by Amdocs Inc. for $1.2 Billion. Kevin and the Solect management team completed 4 rounds of financing with a mixture of venture capitalists and strategic investors, including notable organizations Technology Crossover Ventures, SAIC/Telcordia, Bain Capital, British Telecom and Nokia.

Kevin was also the Founder and President of Casero Inc., a software company providing a suite of Web 2.0 applications to the Broadband market. Notable customers included British Telecom, Comcast and Bell Canada. Casero was acquired by Radialpoint Inc. in February 2009.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo, where he majored in Computer Science and Statistics.

Kevin was a 2002 recipient of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 Award and is a Board member of Toronto East General Hospital, and the Centre for Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology, University of Waterloo (Advisory Board).

Previous Board seats include: The Canadian Stage Company, Variety Village Children's Charity, Ottawa Renegade Football Club, and 'Cottage Dreams' Cancer Recovery.

Kevin has been a part owner in the Ottawa Renegade Football Club of the CFL and 3 National Lacrosse teams of the NLL.

David Mirvish

David is the President of Ed Mirvish Enterprises Limited and is a member of the Board of Directors of AudienceView Ticketing Corporation and the Koffler Centre of the Arts.

Kent Thexton

Kent Thexton is the founder and Chairman of Genie and the Chairman of Redknee. He was formerly the CEO of SEVEN where he was able to grow SEVEN into the largest carrier branded solution for mobile push Email with over 100 carriers and 700,000 end users of SEVEN software. Previously, Thexton spent 6 years in the UK with BT and O2.

Thexton was the CMO and a member of the board of directors of O2 PLC in the UK. O2 is a 23 million subscriber carrier which was sold to Telefonica for $30+ billion. Thexton was able to build the O2 brand into one of the leading wireless brands in Europe, selling to over 5 million new subscribers per year and managing the 5th largest subscriber base in Europe. Thexton also managed the $2.5 billion products P&L and led O2 to leadership in mobile data in Europe with 23% of revenue from data in 03/04.

Kent sits on the board of directors of Genie, Redknee (TSX: RKN), Sierra Wireless (TSX, Nasdaq: SWIR), Melodeo, Mobidia and AudienceView Ticketing Corporation.
