TORONTO, Ontario, Canada – September 22, 2011 – AudienceView Ticketing, a leading provider of advanced and flexible ticketing solutions to venues worldwide, announced today that the company has reached an agreement with the Royal Swedish Opera to serve as their ticketing and CRM technology provider. The opera company selected AudienceView because of its feature-rich ticketing functionality and multi-language capabilities.
"We conducted a very exhaustive search for a ticketing solution that meets the unique needs of our business," said Malin Forkman, Sales & Marketing Manager at the Royal Swedish Opera. "Not only did AudienceView score the highest marks from a functionality standpoint, their ability to tailor the product to meet our needs made this decision very easy. We're excited about utilizing AudienceView's technology to drive revenue and enhance the experience for our patrons."
This agreement further extends AudienceView's important institutional footprint in continental Europe and Scandinavia specifically. AudienceView first entered the Scandinavian marketplace in 2010 when Dramaten, the National Theatre of Sweden, selected the company as their ticketing technology provider.
To meet the diverse needs of their customer base, the Royal Swedish Opera will operate the full suite of ticketing and CRM technology in both English and Swedish. AudienceView's multi-language capabilities allow the opera company to seamlessly conduct box office operations in both languages on the same platform, without having to alter the product or sacrifice any functionality. The white-label solution is highly flexible and puts the opera company in full control of their brand, ticket fees, data and the customer experience.
"The multi-lingual capability of both the online and back office of our system coupled with the ability to service the wide needs of institutional arts organizations was key to our partnership with the Royal Swedish Opera," said Jeff Koets, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AudienceView. "We are excited to add another Scandinavian company to our family of users and to have this partnership with another flagship Swedish organization."
The Royal Swedish Opera, known as Kungliga Operan AB, is Sweden's national stage for opera and ballet.
