TORONTO, Ontario, Canada – October 18, 2011 – AudienceView Ticketing, a leading provider of advanced and flexible ticketing services to venues worldwide, announced today that Jockey Club Racecourses (JCR) has selected the company to power their ticketing operations. JCR will leverage AudienceView's powerful suite of ticketing and Content Management (CMS) technology to standardize and centralize their box office operations, while maintaining the uniqueness of each track.
Jockey Club Racecourses is the UK's largest racecourse group, owning 14 racecourses, selling 1.8 million tickets per annum in staging 366 race meetings in 2011, including the John Smith's Grand National Meeting, the Investec Derby Festival and the Cheltenham Festival. In addition to race meetings, the venues play host to music nights and other events throughout the year.
"The AudienceView solution is a great fit for the unique needs of our organization," said Paul Fisher, Group Managing Director at Jockey Club Racecourses. "To be leaders in sport and leisure, you need more than a great shop window because every part of the customer journey matters. We will use this new partnership to get the most out of each of our venues, using AudienceView's ticketing and CMS solutions to offer the best experience possible to our customers."
With AudienceView, JCR will build on its growing profile for operating venues of choice in the UK events and leisure industry, in addition to continuing to deliver excellent racing programs. The ability to utilize a single, shared database across its portfolio of venues, combined with AudienceView's other powerful solutions, will allow JCR to up-sell and cross-sell through highly targeted marketing campaigns that seek to drive exponential revenue growth.
"We are very pleased that the largest racecourse group in Britain's second biggest spectator sport has selected AudienceView as its ticketing technology partner," said Jeff Koets, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AudienceView. "This agreement is further proof that our solution fits the needs of racecourses in both Europe and North America. We look forward to working with Paul Fisher and his team to continue to develop new functionality that will help Jockey Club Racecourses to deliver a top-notch customer experience."
AudienceView also powers the ticketing and box office operations at Keeneland, a Thoroughbred horse racing facility in Lexington, Kentucky.
