2011 Marks Record Growth for AudienceView across Collegiate Landscape

TORONTO, Ontario, CanadaDecember 20, 2011 – AudienceView Ticketing, a leading provider of ticketing and customer relationship management solutions to sports, arts and entertainment organizations worldwide, announced record growth across the collegiate landscape in 2011 and is poised for even greater growth in 2012.

AudienceView has added 27 new clients through the first three quarters of 2011, with 10 hailing from the collegiate market. The breadth of functionality in the AudienceView platform has empowered campus directors with the flexibility to optimize services across the various stakeholders, including students, faculty/staff, alumni and fans. Events offered by AudienceView's collegiate clients range from sporting events, performing arts, cultural events and even classroom registrations. Another key reason AudienceView has found success on campus is an integrated fundraising module that tightly aligns with the philanthropic nature of a university. The integrated content management system allows development organizations on campus to share their mission and uncover new donors during the ticket purchase process.

"A college campus is in so many ways a microcosm of the industry at large," states Kevin Kimsa, CEO and Founder of AudienceView Ticketing. "The knowledge we have gained through our global footprint, has resulted in innovated solutions for the collegiate market. Departments within a university can elect to work collaboratively on the AudienceView platform or separately without bumping into one another, and thus protecting private data. In addition, the online user experience can be catered to align with the types of events that are being purchased. Fans for athletic events can interact with the athletics department brand while alumni donating to the performing arts center on campus can feel connected to that group."

Schools recently joining the AudienceView family include Duke University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of California – San Diego, Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan. Existing AudienceView clients, Kansas University and the University of Maryland, extended their agreements in 2011.

Innovative new AudienceView products announced in 2011 include an integrated Merchandise Management module and a fully integrated Facebook channel, AudienceView Tiki.

The addition of the integrated Merchandise Management module was unveiled at the University of Minnesota, a full campus AudienceView client since 2006. Fans of Gopher Athletics can now purchase tickets, make donations and buy their favorite sports gear through an integrated online store. The first month of this groundbreaking online experience resulted in the doubling of merchandise revenue for Gopher Athletics, a substantial and immediate return on investment.

The AudienceView Tiki service, announced in late October, will allow schools to use Facebook as a new distribution channel, allowing their customers to transact directly within Facebook. When coupled with the ability for customers to reserve seats directly next to the seats they purchase, the ticket purchase process becomes a truly social-friendly experience. Ticket buyers can share their reservation with any or all of their Facebook friends as a social invitation to join them for the event.

"Facebook has changed how we communicate as a society," suggested Kimsa. "A contract renewal is no longer a rubber stamp in this or any market. It needs to be earned by virtue of innovative business practices that are aligned with today's realities. We feel good about 2012."
