Toronto, ON - January 28, 2008 - AudienceView Ticketing announced today that the Big Apple Circus has selected AudienceView for all ticketing, CRM and fundraising across the organization. AudienceView's new in-house ticketing services and donor relations model gives the New York-based company control to set their own service charges, own their customer data, and fully brand the customer buying and donor experience. The Big Apple Circus is partnering with AudienceView to manage 350 performances in 10 cities across the eastern US, as well as its base of 5,000 donors.
"Over the past 30 years the Big Apple Circus has steadily grown: in the number of venues played, the performances presented, in audience attendance and in community programs offered," said Gary Dunning, Executive Director, Big Apple Circus. "Throughout that steady growth, our priority remains a great customer experience - certainly in the Big Top and in our community programs, but also as a ticket buyer and as a donor. We wanted an integrated ticketing and fundraising system that would help us to continue to provide that high-quality customer experience. After reviewing several companies we concluded that AudienceView offered the most comprehensive package of ticketing, CRM and donor service for our needs. The outstanding reputation in the industry of its leadership coupled with the excellent and user-friendly system gave us the confidence to enter into what I am certain will be a long term, and highly effective relationship."
The Big Apple Circus was looking for a white label solution with fully integrated ticketing, CRM and fundraising, as well as more control over their brand, their revenue, and the customer experience. Further, they wanted a partner that would react to their business needs and proactively build on their success thus far. AudienceView's flexible, full service ticketing solution was an ideal fit for Big Apple Circus' complex business that includes multiple performance locations and a unique production schedule. AudienceView's easy to use interface simplifies the ticketing process for new and seasonal staff, allowing them to quickly learn the system while still delivering exceptional customer service.
In addition to the extensive marketing and business requirements for managing multi-venue ticket sales, as well as group sales, and corporate and private events, the Big Apple Circus also had a significant need for comprehensive fundraising and CRM tools. With more than 30 years delivering fun, family entertainment, the Circus' commitment to the communities they serve remains at the heart of their corporate mission. With fundraising and CRM tools built right into the application, the Big Apple Circus is confident it has the necessary requirements to strengthen and streamline the company's efforts in this area.
"One of AudienceView's biggest strengths is our ability to recognize the diverse needs of clients like the Big Apple Circus and provide them with the best services and solutions to meet those needs," said Kevin Kimsa, AudienceView President & Chief Operating Officer. "We're fully committed to working in partnership with the Big Apple Circus to strengthen their ticketing operations and streamline their overall business practices."
AudienceView provides leading edge, integrated ticketing services to top arenas, stadiums, arts & entertainment venues and theaters worldwide. Since 2002 the company has steadily expanded to include more than 80 clients and 120+ venues across North America, the UK, and Asia.
