TORONTO, Ontario, Canada – June 30, 2010 – AudienceView Ticketing, a leading provider of advanced and flexible ticketing solutions to venues and sports organizations worldwide, announced today that the company has been selected as the ticketing provider for the Atlanta Beat of Women's Professional Soccer (WPS). The Beat join a growing roster of sports organizations using AudienceView Ticketing technology, including the Toronto Blue Jays (MLB), New York Red Bulls (MLS), University of Minnesota Athletics (NCAA) and a number of soccer organizations in Europe.

The Atlanta Beat is in its inaugural season in the WPS, the world's premier soccer league for women with seven teams across the United States. The league features the best players from around the world, including the entire current roster of the U.S. Women's National Team. The organization plays their home soccer matches in a brand new 8,300-seat stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia that is the only women's soccer-specific stadium of its kind in the world.

The organization will be using AudienceView's hosted white-label platform to run their ticketing operations. In addition to selling individual tickets on the platform, the team will take advantage of the flexibility to offer an unlimited number of ticket plans including: season seats, flexi-packs, premium seats and group seats. The Beat will also utilize the merchandising functionality to offer camps & clinics, birthday parties, youth soccer programs and other special promotions.

The Atlanta Beat selected AudienceView for the platform's flexibility, powerful functionality and ease of use. Additionally, the database marketing capabilities to segment and target offers were highlighted as a means to best serve their growing fanbase.

"Plain and simple, AudienceView understands ticketing," said Shawn McGee, General Manager of the Atlanta Beat. "It's obvious that the company has ticket industry veterans shaping the solution because each need and pain point of a ticket operations manager is addressed with powerful and flexible functionality. Plus, they give our marketing team the tools we need to better serve and market to our fans."

"We're thrilled to be working with the Atlanta Beat and Shawn McGee's team," said Jeff Koets, Vice President Sales and Marketing at AudienceView. "This agreement is just another example of a sports organization that quickly saw the benefits of the flexibility and control offered by the AudienceView solution. Also, the more data that they collect over the life of the agreement, the more powerful our database marketing tools become to help drive exponential revenue for the club."

About the Atlanta Beat

The Atlanta Beat joins Women's Professional Soccer as one of two expansion teams in the 2010 season. Atlanta entrepreneur Fitz Johnson secured the rights to the Atlanta team in September 2008 before naming Shawn McGee as General Manager and Gareth O'Sullivan as Head Coach in the summer of the following year.

On June 18, 2009, the Atlanta Beat officially became an expansion franchise in WPS as Johnson, McGee, WPS Commissioner Tonya Antonucci and former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin unveiled the team name, logo and colors. The Beat acquired its first official players through the 2009 WPS Expansion Draft and 2009 International Draft in mid-September before completing its roster with the 2010 WPS Draft in January. Atlanta's new team takes on the same name as the market's former Women's United Soccer Association club which was the only WUSA team to reach the playoffs in every season. The Beat's colors are Ferrari Red, Championship Gold, and Black.
