AudienceView Selected to Power Ticketing System for TCU Place - Saskatoon's Premier Arts & Convention Centre
TORONTO, Ontario, Canada – July 23, 2010 – AudienceView Ticketing, a leading provider of advanced and flexible ticketing services to venues worldwide, announced today that the company has reached an agreement with TCU Place to provide the organization with upgraded ticketing technology. The agreement with the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based venue further expands AudienceView's footprint in Canada.
TCU Place, located in beautiful downtown Saskatoon, is the city's premier arts and convention centre and is considered to be one of the best conference facilities in all of Western Canada. Opened in 1968, the centre underwent major renovation in 2006. The venue hosts ballets, symphonies, musicals, plays, concerts, and conventions in the heart of downtown.
AudienceView was selected to power the ticketing system at TCU Place primarily due to the flexibility and control offered by the white-label online platform. TCU Place will have full control over revenue, data and branding – an opportunity that was not available to them in previous ticketing relationships. The organization highlighted the seamless ability to ticket for other organizations as a contributing factor in choosing AudienceView.
TCU Place currently offers single tickets, ticket packages and gift certificates for live performances on tcutickets.ca, the consumer website for ticket transactions.
