United Kingdom, Wycombe - August 18, 2005 - Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, a Coca Cola League Two club, today announced it has chosen AudienceView to provide in-house ticketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to replace its existing technology.
AudienceView will replace Wycombe's existing ticketing system with its industry leading web-based system. Their objective was to find a real-time ticketing system that was fully integrated with CRM, in order to enhance customer service and decrease operating costs. AudienceView's advanced technology will allow Wycombe to easily access and control information across the club's internal departments that will assist in improving their overall operations and interactions with fans. This system will also be available for the London Wasps (Zurich premiership Champions 2004/2005) who recently agreed a 2 year deal to stay at The Causeway Stadium. The AudienceView online solution provides a secure environment for club members to purchase tickets and manage their own accounts.
"We carefully evaluated the different options available for in-house ticketing and AudienceView has definitely proven itself as the upcoming leader for Football Clubs." said Garry Adamson Operations Manager at Wycombe Wanderers. "We look forward to providing our fans with an enhanced purchasing experience through their user friendly technology."
"We are thrilled that Wycombe has selected AudienceView," said Mark Cohon, President of AudienceView. "We have had great success with football clubs in the UK. The Wycombe Wanderer's choice of AudienceView clearly reinforces our market leadership."
AudienceView provides advanced, flexible ticketing services to leading arenas, stadiums, arts venues and theaters worldwide. It offers a fully branded customer experience across traditional and emerging touch points and channels. Clients benefit from integrated CRM tracking customer data, interactions and preferences to support enhanced marketing and sales initiatives. Its growing feature set leads to greater control of ticketing and related services and higher revenue streams for its clients.
The Blues are now an established Football League club having spent over ten years in the League following their promotion to the old Third Division in 1993. The era of Martin O' Neill brought about the club's greatest success when he transformed them from Conference contenders into Division One hopefuls in the space of five years.
Successive promotions during the first half of the 1990's elevated them into Division Two and it was there that they stayed for a further ten years before their relegation under Tony Adams in 2004. Last season was a one of adjustment with John Gorman returning to the club where he had been caretaker manager for a brief period the previous campaign.
After a huge upturn in the side's fortunes under Gorman, a late surge nearly ended in a Play Off place. However, that wasn't to be and after a summer of expectation which included the addition of five new signings, there's a wave of optimism at the Causeway Stadium.
London Wasps were established in 1867 and won the Courage League Championship in the first full year of professionalism in 1997. Captained by the commanding Lawrence Dallaglio, London Wasps have since won the Tetley Bitter Cup twice, the Zurich Premiership three times in succession, the European Challenge Cup and the European Cup. The nomadic team has played at Sudbury in North London, Loftus Road in West London and the Causeway Stadium in High Wycombe, where they enjoyed their most successful period, under the influence of Warren Gatland. Ian McGeechan has joined the Club this season as the new Director of Rugby.
