Toronto, Canada - September 14, 2006 - AudienceView has been selected to provide its ticketing, customer relationship management (CRM), and fundraising solution for the Lobero Theater in Santa Barbara, California. The Lobero Theater was originally founded in 1873, later rebuilt in 1924, and continues to be both a Santa Barbara and a California landmark. It plays host to a wide variety of events each year, including concerts, dance, and theatre performances.
"There was no doubt that AudienceView – as a software solution and as a company – was the best fit for us," said Lobero Executive Director David Asbell. "Throughout the selection process, it became clear that AudienceView was not only the right solution for our theater at this time, but could also offer us the long-term, sustainable infrastructure we need to succeed as an organization. It's no secret that customer buying habits are changing, and we want to stay at the front of the pack."
In addition to ticketing, the Lobero Theater will use AudienceView to further develop their Internet presence, and will add improved online sales tools for their customers. They will also use the solution's integrated CRM and fundraising components to better manage their overall operations, enhance new and existing donor relationships, as well as manage their ongoing endowment campaign, along with several smaller capital projects.
"We were looking for a company that, like our theater, was interested in growth and change," said Asbell. "The functionality that the AudienceView solution brings is a big growth step for us, and we're excited about the added value we'll be able to offer our members. The more we can make targeted, successful contact with our members, the more successful we will be."
The Lobero Theater is another addition to AudienceView's growing list of theatres and performing arts centres in the United States, Canada, and the UK, including the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Minnesota, Confederation Centre in Prince Edward Island, and Norwich Theatre Royal in England.
"The Lobero Theater is an important California landmark, and we're happy to be a part of its future success and growth, said AudienceView CEO Kevin Kimsa. "Our innovative, integrated approach to ticketing is a proven winner, as our list of clients on the west coast, as well as across North America and the UK continues to grow. And with comprehensive fundraising and CRM capabilities built right into the system, the Lobero Theater can easily manage their operations across all channels."
