University of Iowa's Hancher Auditorium Selects AudienceView Ticketing
12/02/09 – AudienceView Ticketing today announced that The University of Iowa's Hancher Auditorium has selected its state of the art ticketing system to increase online ticket sales, manage membership programs and utilize the system's advanced Customer Relationship Management (CRM) features. Iowa's Hancher Auditorium is among the leading university-based arts presenters in the nation and provides an annual innovative arts-education program that reaches across Iowa. The AudienceView system has allowed Hancher's box office to seamlessly manage ticket inventory for eleven venues in the area, a situation made necessary by flooding in 2008, which closed Hancher's facility.
"We have a broad audience of very loyal patrons that we want to engage and interact with frequently, especially now that our productions are appearing across eleven different venues," said Rob Cline, Hancher's Director of Marketing and Communications. "The AudienceView System gives us the tools we need to manage tickets across a number of venues and effectively be able to connect with our loyal patrons. Until we unveil our new building, our goal is to stay in touch with our patrons and our large Iowa student population and to continue to inspire them with the world's best productions and a leading arts-education program."

Meanwhile, Hancher continues to present in alternate locations.
