Toronto, ON - December 6, 2006 - The Washington Center for the Performing Arts, South Puget Sound's largest performing arts facility located in Olympia, Washington, will use AudienceView Software's integrated ticketing, fundraising, and customer relationship management (CRM) solution.

"We have researched available ticketing and database systems for the past year and a half, and AudienceView's web-based integrated system is the one that meets our needs," said Tom Iovanne, Executive Director of The Washington Center. "We are in the very beginning stages of an endowment campaign, and AudienceView's seamless view of our customers and clients, coupled with the management tools we will be able to place in the hands of the many organizations that call the Center home, convinced us that now was the time to make the jump. Making it all possible for us has been a significant grant from the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation."

Using AudienceView's integrated, single database solution, the Washington Center will have access to ticketing, fundraising, and marketing tools, providing a single view of the customer across the entire organization. While the Center showcases national and international touring artists from across many genres, their biggest focus is supporting the many local performance groups who use the Center. The AudienceView solution provides the data management and analysis tools necessary to interact with existing customers, and to attract new ones.

The Washington Center is a multi-purpose building, and has a 983-seat proscenium theatre with four seating levels and adjacent lobby spaces, as well as a smaller Stage II black box theatre with its own lobby. In addition to performing arts events, the Center hosts workshops, seminars, parties, receptions, video shoots, and more. Their location enables them to pull their audiences from across five surrounding counties, and they've welcomed almost two million visitors since opening in 1985.

"The Washington Center is a great example of an organization dedicated to getting the most out of our system," said AudienceView CEO Kevin Kimsa. "They've realized it's not just about ticketing anymore. They work with many groups, and have different audiences for a variety of events. Managing those relationships via marketing, fundraising, or ticketing initiatives will be vital to their success."

The Washington Center for the Performing Arts is the latest in AudienceView's growing client list, and joins the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, the Mesa Arts Center, the American Heartland Theatre, and the Community Theatre, among others.
