Campus ID integration

The AudienceView Campus ID Validation Service is available subject to an annual license fee. To learn more, please contact your AudienceView Campus account representative or email sales@universitytickets.com.

Once implemented, the Campus ID service allows your students, faculty and staff to leverage their campus ID card to demonstrate their eligibility and attendance at your events. At the point of entry, ticket takers will simply scan or tap a campus ID card, and the system will immediately validate the authenticity and currency of the card before granting the user admission. AudienceView Campus is able to restrict attendance to only eligible populations event-by-event, allowing, for example, students to enter at no charge while faculty and staff require advance ticket purchase.

ID Validation functionality further allows the granting of loyalty points to track your most faithful student attendees. An online loyalty leaderboard (optional) allows students to see their rank amongst their peers and encourages competition among your campus population and improves attendance at your events.

AudienceView Campus requires daily transmission of a campus ID data file, in CSV or Excel format. The following fields are required:

(Note that AudienceView Campus can parse the unique ID component of a campus ID card, and our scanners support RFID, NFC, PROX and barcoded IDs)

The following fields are optional. If not submitted, should the user attempt to sign into their account online, they will be subsequently prompted to complete their user profile with these fields.

If the file is transmitted in CSV format, all fields must be encapsulated with quotation marks, like “FIRST NAME”, “LAST NAME”, etc. to avoid conflicts with punctuation contained in the underlying values. The file should have a static name, include the full data set with each transfer (not a delta file) and must overwrite the previous file with each transfer.

To facilitate connectivity, you must provide AudienceView Campus with the IP address from which you will be connecting to our SFTP server. AudienceView Campus supports credential authentication (default) and public key authentication to secure transfer.

Finally, to ensure proper parsing of the ID card, AudienceView Campus requires that a test card be mailed to our office. You may send this to: AudienceView Campus, 4 Union Street, Suite 24, Bangor, Maine 04401.

Once the automated transfer is enabled, please allow up to two weeks for configuration within AudienceView Campus.
